Presidential Envoy in the Russian Far East: Japanese Business is interested in new projects in Russia


A Russian official delegation headed by the Presidential Envoy in the Russian Far East Yuri Trutnev returned from Tokyo where they participated in a number of meetings with major Japanese corporations as well as government officials and associations.

As a result of the meetings Mr. Trutnev noted that Japanese companies are eager to make the bilateral cooperation closer. In the pipeline there are a number of joint projects in Khabarovsk Krai including airport reconstruction, greenhouse and wood processing projects.

The Deputy Prime Minister also noted that the Japanese business is interested in new tools of investors’ support provided by the Russian Government in the Russian Far East.
