Mining equipment is planned to be supplied to the RSA

Uralmashzavod is ready to offer South African companies modern and high-performance equipment for the mining industry, according to the press centre of the company following the visit of a delegation from the Republic of South Africa, headed by the ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the RSA to Russia, Sibanda-Tusi Nomasonto Maria.

Representatives of this African state expressed confidence that the new developments of the Yekaterinburg plant — large mining excavators and mine hoisting machines – will be of interest to the mining enterprises of their country. The RSA has rich mineral resources – about 52 percent of exports are from the mining industry. As you know, this republic is the most economically developed country in Africa (the only representative of the continent in the G20).

According to the General Director of Uralmashzavod, Sergey Smolin, electric mining excavators, crushing and grinding and lifting and transporting equipment are the drivers of sales of the enterprise, which taps into new market segments and develops traditional product lines. In the past year alone, Uralmashzavod brought to the market three new machines (EKG-35 electric excavator, UGE-300 hydraulic excavator and mine lifting machine), the process of developing new products will continue this year.
