A session of the supervisory board of Vladivostok Free Port took place in Vladivostok. The session was held by the Deputy Chairman of the RF Government — Presidential Envoy to the Russian Far East District Yury Trutnev.
The agenda of the session included discussions of investment attraction to Vladivostok Free Port as well as launching this regime in other Russian Far East harbors. In Khabarovsk Krai such a status was granted to the Port of Vanino.
The Presidential Envoy pointed out that in every region special commissions will be established to manage free ports. The head of the commission in Khabarovsk Krai will be Governor Shport.
Khabarovsk Krai Governor stressed out that advanced development of the Vanino District would directly depend on how successful a new economic regime would be implemented. Khabarovsk Krai authorities have been working on amendments to the regional tax legislation. They are expected to be adopted in October 2016.
