Center for Support of Chinese Investors Might Appear in the Russian Far East
Russian-Chinese talks for development of cooperation ended on the government level in Beijing.
The Russian delegation headed by Presidential Envoy in the Russian Far East and Vice Prime-Minister Yuri Trutnev also included Minister for Development of the Russian Far East Alexander Galushka and Khabarovsk Krai Governor Vyacheslav Shport. The Chinese party in negotiations was represented by Vice Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China Wang Yang.
One of the major results of the talks was a consensus to sign a mutual agreement between the Ministry for Development of the Russian Far East and the National Development and Reform Commission of the People’s Republic of China for development of Bolshoy Ussuriysky/Heixiazi Island.
A special attention at the meeting of the two Vice Prime-Ministers was paid to prospects of bilateral relationship development. According to Khabarovsk Krai Governor Vyacheslav Shport the parties discussed current and future projects as well as drawing up of a Russian-Chinese Program of Cooperation in the Russian Far East and establishment of a Center for Support of Chinese Investors.
