A new High Speed Vessel to be presented at the Far-Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok
A unique logistics operation of hauling a A45-2 high speed passenger vessel started in Khabarovsk. By order of Khabarovsk Krai Governor Vyacheslav Shport the vessel is to be exhibited at the Far-Eastern Forum in Vladivostok.
The vessel was hauled to the jetty of the Khabarovsk river port, moved by a special crane of the Russian Railroad Company on a see barge that will take the vessel to Vladivostok by river and then by sea. The barge is scheduled to reach the destination in two weeks.
During the Far Eastern Forum the vessel is going to be anchored in Ajax Bay of the Russian Island. That is where most of business events are going to take place. And visitors of the forum including potential customers will have a chance to study and appraise the vessel.
The vessel can transport up to 100 passengers and thanks to its water jets it can accelerate to more than 70 km/h. The draft of an A45-2 is just about 1 meter and can be used in shallow waters and be moored on banks without jetties.
