On August 8–10 a delegation of the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) held several meetings, workshops and business sessions in Khabarovsk.
The visit lead by KOTRA’s Vice-President, Mr. Yun Won Sok, took place as a part of the Knowledge Sharing Program (KSP). Apart from KOTRA representatives the delegation included professors from the leading Korean universities — Kookmin, Yonsei, Hallym.
The main purpose of the visit was study and analysis of Khabarovsk Krai’s export potential and development of export strategy, including reinforcement of the role of Khabarovsk Krai Export Center in the region's foreign trade.
Khabarovsk Krai was represented by the Ministry for International and Interregional Cooperation, Export Support and Development Center, regional SMEs and some Korean companies that are executing investment projects in the area.
The visit resulted in KSP presentation and introduction of the survey’s first results.
The next stage of the KSP program will take place in October, 2017 on the margins of the II Far Eastern Forum of Entrepreneurs: New Opportunities of Business Development in the Russian Far East.
